Denmark planning for Electric Cars for Mass production

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — fosfsc @ 2:08 pm

The potential at present in Denmark is only a handful of people are using Electric cars. Whereas the biggest Danish power company is working with a Silicon Valley to start up a $100 million effort to make the country with charging poles and servicing stations that is all going to be changed to batteries. A biggest one here is the government offers a minimum of $40,000 tax break on each new electric car and free parking in downtown Copenhagen. An Israeli-American entrepreneur said by January 2009 we would have 100,000 charging points and several thousand would hit the roads by 2010. The deadline is already approaching and still no better cars on the roads and there is only 55 charging points are ready.

But better Place would be in 2011 and it has been always the target for its mass debut. In the Climate conference, companies are planning for a road test of electric cars. We will be ready for 2011 when Renault ships the car. The one factor that you can’t find on a spreadsheet is the willingness of the people in government to lead change. Everybody in Denmark is engaged and willing to bring what makes the Denmark to become a leader in Electric Vehicles.
