David Stern is the best commissioner in sports. I say that as an NBA fan, but also as someone who really thinks that this guy does a phenomenal job of running his sport, keeping his players in check and the game rolling in a positive direction. Look at the problems in Major League Baseball or the NFL if you don’t believe me. As for the NHL, their ratings are pretty brutal, they’re games are on a network that many people don’t get and they suffered a season long lockout a few years back. I don’t want to say Stern runs away with the award, or that the NBA is perfect, but I think the guy has been in his post a long time and has done some great stuff for the league and has done a damn good job throughout his tenure. Here’s a great video of Stern hanging at a barber shop in Harlem with New York Times writer William C. Rhoden and some locals. It’s a pretty awesome video, and mad props go to Rhoden for making this happen and Stern for connecting with fans in their environment and talking candidly about the game.

Whats KATE WINSLET is doing in HANNA SCHMITZ

Kate Winslet plays Hanna Schmitz, a German woman in her thirties whose teenage lover is unaware of the dark secret in her past.Okay, that fainting thing, Penélope. I’d be lying if I hadn’t made a version of this speech before, I think I was probably eight years old and staring into the bathroom mirror. And this (holding up her statuette) would’ve been a shampoo bottle. Well, it’s not a shampoo bottle now!I feel very fortunate to have made it all the way from there to here. I’m very lucky to have been given Hanna Schmitz by Bernhard Schlink and David Hare and Stephen and working with you is an experience I will never forget. There was no division between the cast and the crew on this film, and that’s what made it so special.

Ashton Kutcher says “My life is Just Perfect”
‘Life couldn’t be better, even if I was standing on that beach out there. I’m so good I almost need another one of me to be any better,’ contactmusic.com quoted Kutcher as saying. He also revealed that he had refuse a good role in a new movie because he didn’t feel he physically suited the part.’ I just read something that I loved, loved, loved and the character was so different from who I could play, so I felt it was too much of a leap. Like me playing Truman Capote, that’s what I would compare it to. It’s like people wouldn’t buy me in it, no matter how good I was.’ I can’t make myself physically smaller, I can lose weight, I could do a ton of prosthetics on my face but I would still look a certain way. There are some things that you are just not right for.’
